Rodriguez returns to St. Cloud for his eighth season with the Rox, seventh as Field Manager. He led the Rox to their first Northwoods League Championship in 2017. In 2016 he was named the Northwoods League Manager of the year. In addition to his duties with the Rox, he is also an Associate Scout for the Cincinnati Reds. He played six years of professional baseball starting with the Seattle Mariners who invited him to spring training in 2003. He also spent two seasons playing in the Puerto Rican Major Winter League and a season in the European Major League. He spent three years as the pitching coach at Augusta State and one season as the pitching coach in St. Cloud in 2011. During his six seasons leading the Rox, Rodriguez held a 248-190 (.566) record.
