Nolan Wilson comes to Sanford at the end of his redshirt-freshman season at Virginia Tech.  Before enrolling in college, Wilson earned varsity letters in all four seasons at Lakeside High School, ultimately collecting Rawlings-Perfect Game Preseason All-American and Southeast All-Region Second Team honors as a senior in 2017.  After redshirting his firstyear in Blacksburg, Wilson flourished and became a dependable bullpen arm.  He pitched in 12 games, making three starts, and tossed 13.2 innings while accumulating a 3.29 earned run average.  He struck out 10 batters and amassed a .250 batting average against.
