Haskin was ranked as the No. 65 overall outfielder in the nation upon graduation. The Bronxville, NY native attended Avon Old Farms School in Avon, Connecticut, he was a four-year starter at Avon being named captain and MVP during his junior and senior years. In his senior year he hit .515, with nine home runs, 37 RBI, and set a school with 36 stolen bases that was previously held by current Houston Astro’s All-Star outfielder George Springer. Haskin earned All-Founders League First-Team honors sophomore-senior year while also being names the league’s MVP after his junior and senior year. He was named to the NY-NE Region American Baseball Coaches Association and All- State First- Team as a senior. Tulane Head Baseball Coach Travis Jewett said: “He’s the best runner we have on our team. He’s also a guy that’s got pop. He’s got tools. It’ll be fun to see what he can do going forward.”
