Scott Carcaise had two extra base hits, sparking the Frontier Greys (5-8) to a 5-3 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (5-8) on Friday at All Pro Freight Stadium.

Justin DAlessandro picked up the win for the Frontier Greys. DAlessandro pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, four hits and four walks while striking out five.

A bright spot for the Lake Erie Crushers in the defeat was Rob Blanc, who allowed only zero runs while striking out eight.

Kolby Moore ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
