Pointstreak Completes Agreement with the Ice Hockey Federation of Slovenia

Toronto, ON - Pointstreak.com Inc. and the Ice Hockey Federation of Slovenia (Hokejska Zveza Slovenije - HZS) are pleased to announce they have reached a long-term agreement.  This agreement will see Pointstreak provide real-time scoring, official statistics and international hockey league software services to the top two senior leagues (men and women) and four junior leagues, as well as the Slovenian National Team and National Junior and Women's programs.  All statistics will be presented in the Slovenian language as well as English using Pointstreak's patented real-time scoring and statistical technology.

Hockey was played in Slovenia since the beginning of the 20th century. As a part of former Yugoslavia, Slovenia joined the International Ice Hockey Federation in 1939. Slovenia became member of the IIHF in 1992 as an independent country where almost a thousand male and female players are participating in the national competitions in many leagues. Top Slovenian player, Anze Kopitar, is playing for the Los Angeles Kings in the NHL.
