NAHL, Pointstreak introduce NAHL NetworkMay 06, 2009 FRISCO, TEXAS - The North American Hockey League announced today that Pointstreak.com, Inc., will design and host all NAHL team websites under the NAHL Network of Web sites. An initiative designed to provide the NAHL and its member teams with uniformed, professional and integrated websites which have the capability to provide updated content with access to league and team information, real-time scoring and official statistics, as well as a centralized audited ad serving platform, the NAHL Network will provide the NAHL with greater control of its content and league message, as well as provide a platform for its sponsors and advertising partners to deliver their message to the more than two million yearly visitors to NAHL.com and the related team websites. Pointstreak, which has been the exclusive provider of real-time scoring, official statistics and league administration tools for the NAHL for the past five seasons, will now become the official website design and hosting company of the NAHL. The league’s official website, NAHL.com, will continue to be designed and hosted by John Elftmann, who has developed and maintained the site the past two seasons. "This is a big step forward as it relates to our league’s entire online presence, both from a marketing and information standpoint," said NAHL commissioner Mark Frankenfeld. "Already a valued partner, Pointstreak has helped raise the awareness and professionalism of our league and we couldn’t think of a better company to develop and launch this exciting initiative." Member team websites will boast a fully featured content management system that will provide teams with full control over their website content with unprecedented access to custom statistics components that will seamlessly integrate with Pointstreak statistics. "We’re proud to have been chosen by the NAHL to develop and host the NAHL Network," said Pointstreak President and CEO Scott Secord. "The NAHL has always been on the forefront of new initiatives that will enhance the overall experience for their fans, media and advertising partners. We look forward to being a part of the success that the NAHL will realize with the creation of the NAHL Network."
