Pointstreak Partners with South Florida Collegiate Baseball LeagueFeb 12, 2013 ![]() Toronto, ON – Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. and the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League are pleased to announce they have reached an Agreement which will see Pointstreak provide real-time scoring, official statistics, a customized CMS site and league administration services to the league. “We are excited to partner with Pointstreak and believe this will enable players, scouts and fans to more easily access information about our league”, said SFCBL President, Vince Farfaglia. Pointstreak Stats’ baseball platform will streamline the process of capturing and delivering game statistics for the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League and deliver those game events to the league and team websites in real-time for the benefit of players, fans and media partners. A unique feature of Pointstreak’s baseball statistical solution is Game Live, a real-time flash application that streams play-by-play baseball results over a 3-D graphical image of a baseball diamond. Pointstreak Stats for baseball is also geared towards the needs of media sources, providing Associated Press (AP) formatted box scores, allowing for easy reproduction of baseball stats into print media. “We’re extremely excited to be partnering with the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League, as they enter their 2nd season of operations. About the South Florida Collegiate Baseball League
South Florida Collegiate Baseball League is a wood bat summer collegiate baseball league based in the heart of South Florida which gives amateur players an opportunity to showcase themselves in hopes of reaching the professional ranks. Players will have an opportunity to develop their skills at a high level of play and be evaluated by scouts. Teams play a 40 game regular season schedule with games beginning in June and ending in the last week in July. All games are 9 innings, with most doubleheaders scheduled on the weekends. The All-Star game is played in early July, and the League Championship Series concludes in the first week of August.
