Before playing hockey, Véronique was an elite ringette player, helping Team Quebec to a bronze medal at the Canada Games in 2007, and won gold at the National Ringette Championships in 2006 and ‘07. She was introduced to hockey at the age of 4, by her father and older brother, Maxime. In 2011, she and Maxime took part in the infamous Montreal-Quebec II hockey television series on the TVA network, playing for the Reds.
Avant de jouer au hockey, Véronique était une joueuse de ringuette de haut-niveau, décorée de bronze avec Équipe Québec aux Jeux du Canada en 2007 et d’or aux Championnats nationaux de ringuette en 2006 et 2007. Dès l’âge de 4 ans, elle a été initiée au hockey par son père et son grand frère Maxime. C’est avec ce dernier qu’elle a été sélectionnée, en 2011, pour faire partie de l’équipe des rouges de la télésérie Montréal-Québec II, au réseau TVA.
