During the 2010-11 season, Thibault captured the attention of many in Québec as she helped Team Québec to a victory in the hockey reality TV show La série Montréal-Québec 2011. She then crowned a fantastic season with the Montréal Stars by scoring the highlight-reel goal that was the talk of the tournament as the Stars won the Clarkson Cup Championship. Last season, Thibault scored 6 points in only 7 games with a total of 3 goals and 3 assists.
Thibault was a member of the Canadian national U22 team from 2006 to 2009 and played for the Clarkson University Knights in the NCAA league from 2006 to 2010 where she was the leading scorer with 40 points, 21 goals and 19 assist in 39 games. Named to the ECAC team (2009-10), she had the chance to play against Team USA. She was selected player of the year (Hockey East) and named to the All-American Team from 2007 to 2009.
Nicknamed Do, she started playing hockey at the age of 5. In her second year of university, she had the unusual experience of playing against her sister, who played for Minnesota State University. She graduated with a degree in social sciences, and presently coaches in a sport-étude program where she also works as a substitute teacher.
