Last season, Davidson scored 24 goals with the Montréal Stars, and 25 assists for a total of 49 points in 27 games, making her the #3 scoring leader of the CWHL.
During her first season with the Montréal Stars, 2010-2011, Davidson wowed audiences with her wicked wrist shot, making her one of the league’s top-20 scorers with 20 points, 12 goals and 8 assists. In her illustrious university career, Davidson was McGill’s all-time leader in goals (145), assists (158) and points (303) and was twice named McGill Female Athlete of the Year and McGill Hockey MVP. She served as the McGill Martlets’ team captain in 2009-10, after being the assistant captain from 2007-09. Davidson made the CIS All-Canadian team three times (2007, 2008, 2009) and the QSSF All-Star team four times (2006 to 2009). In 2009 she played with the Canadian National Team in the Winter Universiade in Harbin, China, bringing home the gold medal for her country.
Nicknamed Vinny, she started playing at the age of 5. She works as a physical education teacher, volunteers for ALS Québec (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and is involved with the Leslie Davidson Foundation.
