Growing up in Rochester, New York with his parents Paul and Carol and his older sister Caitlin, Jon-Paul grew up playing for the Rochester Monarchs and Perinton Youth Hockey. Before going away to Salisbury School in Connecticut he won 2 Section V championships with Fairport High School. Playing 3 years at Salisbury School Jon-Paul won a New England Championship his sophomore year and was Founders league champion his sophomore and senior year. Jon-Paul has always been a hard worker on and off the ice and looks forward to the upcoming season with the Brockville Braves.
