Last Season... Was captain of the St. Andrews College Saints Varsity hockey team. There he played in two leagues the MPHL and The cissa. Winning both leagues one as MPHL underdogs and the other as cissa favourites. Mark was a MPHL and cissa all-star and also scored the OT winner of the MPHL finals. Throughout the season he was second in scoring with 63 points in 61 games was voted by the team as MVP of the season. Since joining the St. Andrews Saints in 2008-2009 they have won seven overtime games in which he has scored all of those OT winners, every one since the 08-09 cissa finals were he scored the ot winner with thirty seconds remaining on the clock. At the St. Francis tournament Mark was named tournament MVP and scored three goals in the finals against St. Francis. Graduated St. Andrews College with Honours while also being named Athlete of the Year. More on Belveder......Played Midget AAA for the Predateurs de Montreal led the team in scoring while being named an Assistant Captain . The previous year Mark played in the Quebec midget espoir league where he was the leading scorer of all of Quebec with 68 points in 38 games, was named the teams MVP. Highlight was that to win the scoring race Mark needed 4 points in the last game and recorded a hat trick along with three assist. Graduated st Andrews college with Ontario honours and was named the colleges athlete of the year for his success on three varsity teams, Soccer , Hockey and Rugby being named a captain on every one.
