Last Season: Eric is coming off an outstanding 2009-10 season as a member of the Ottawa Jr. 67’s Major Midget AAA team. Highlights include Finalists in the Markham Classic and Finalists in the Gatineau Kiwanis Showcase tournament. The Jr. 67’s Major Midgets were the 2009-10 OEMHL Regular season and Playoff Champions and represented the ODMHA at the 2010 Central Region Championships. At the 2010 Central Region Championships, Eric’s strong defensive play help to lead the team to the Silver Medal and was recognized as the player of the game. More on Eric …recorded 10 goals and 11 assists in 28 games during the 2008-09 season with the Ottawa Jr. 67’s Minor Midgets of the OEMHL AAA league … during his minor midget year was invited to the U17 Regional camp in Ottawa. ….just completed Grade 11at Hillcrest High School in Ottawa, Ontario. Eric played his minor hockey for the Ottawa Sting AA until his Minor Bantam season when ‘AAA’ was installed in the Ottawa region. Starting in 2007-08 he played Major Bantam for the Ottawa Jr. 67’s AAA Hockey Club and played his last 3 season of minor hockey with the Jr. 67’s … during his Major Bantam year was select to the Big Nickel tournament All-Star team and lead the Kanata Shootout tournament in scoring during the 2006-07season.
