Last Season: Tyson in his second season with the Braves battled some nagging injuries which saw him miss 27 games. Tyson demonstrated his gifted skating ability, and ability to make great plays coming out of his own end which caught the attention of Robert Morris University. Tyson committed for the 2012 season. Wilson had some bouts of inconsistency often trying to do too much throughout the season. Wilson found his consistency in the play-offs as he was an absolute dominating force throughout the play-offs, Eastern Canadian Championships and RBC Cup. Tyson was also selected to play for Team Canada East in 09/10, but had to miss the tournament due to an upper body injury. He was selected to the 2010 Battle of Ontario CJHL All Star Challenge. More on Wilson: In 06/07 was drafted in the 4th round of the CJHL League by the Brockville Braves. Was selected for “Team Canada East” tryouts in 08/09 and 09/10. In 08/09 was named to the CJHL League “All Prospects Team”, only 3 defenseman named to the team. In the 08/09 season with the Brockville Braves registered 1 goal, 18 assists and 42 PIM in 63 games..... Named to the CJHL Battle of Ontario in 2010.... In 07/08 played for the South Grenville JR “B” Rangers of the EOJHL. In 39 games registered 9 goals and 16 assists, 3rd on the team in scoring, 9th in league amongst all rookies in scoring, selected to the league “Rookie All Star Team”, and selected as team “Rookie of the Year”. Wilson played Minor Hockey for the Rideau St. Lawrence Kings of the EOMHL. In 06/07 in his Minor Midget year registered 17 goals, 26 assists and 38 PIM in 52 games. Affiliated with the Major Midget Kings, MVP of Prep school camp, Team MVP, selected to play in League All Star Game, selected to try out for the U17 Ontario Team.
