The Cornwall Colts rallied from two goals down to secure a 4-3 win over the Orleans Blues.

Cornwall let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. The Colts took a 1-0 advantage on a power play goal by Kyle Taylor at 11:04 in the first period. Cornwall went down 3-1 after Orleans' Scott Ashton put the puck home on the power play at 16:49 in the second period. After knotting things up at 3-3 on a goal by Taylor at 10:52 in the third, the Colts got the game-winner from Ryan Shamshoum at 12:39 in the third period.

Cornwall got the win on the strength of a great game by Taylor, who had two goals and one assist.

The the Colts penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled 22 minors and two majors for 54 minutes in penalty time. Cornwall had been averaging 36.0 minutes in penalties per game.
