Winnipeg Junior Jets completes comeback, beats Montreal Ice Storm, 4-3

Clarke Caswell had two goals and one assist to lead Winnipeg Junior Jets. Caswell scored the first of his two goals short handed at 5:16 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Montreal Ice Storm. Caswell's next tally short handed made the score 2-2 in the third period. Jackson Kostiuk assisted on the tally.

Winnipeg Junior Jets put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Montreal Ice Storm to score on any of their four power plays.

Winnipeg Junior Jets additionally got points from Kostiuk, who also registered one goal and one assist. Winnipeg Junior Jets also got a goal from Josh Fluker as well. In addition, Winnipeg Junior Jets received assists from Merrek Arpin and Morgan Smith, who each chipped in one.

Montreal Ice Storm put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Winnipeg Junior Jets to score on any of their six power plays.Winnipeg Junior Jets's defense shut down Montreal Ice Storm's forwards for much of the game, and Montreal Ice Storm got off only 13 shots during the contest.

Remi Newbury also scored for Montreal Ice Storm. More assists for Montreal Ice Storm came via Connor Davis, Jeremy Leroux, and Tyron Fevry, who contributed one apiece.

BJ Riccardi rejected ten shots on goal for Winnipeg Junior Jets. Winnipeg Junior Jets incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Montreal Ice Storm incurred ten minutes in penalty time with five minors.
