BC Junior Canucks pulls away in second, rolls over Chicago Jr. Blackhawks, 7-0

BC Junior Canucks scored five goals in the second period to pull away from Chicago Jr. Blackhawks and clinch a 7-0 win.

BC Junior Canucks got the win thanks to a great game by Dryden Kuramoto, who had one goal and two assists. Kuramoto scored 1:30 into the second period to make the score 2-0 BC Junior Canucks. Macklin Celebrini provided the assist.

BC Junior Canucks managed to stay out of the box better than usual, racking up one minor for two minutes in penalty time. BC Junior Canucks ended up below its season average of 4.0 penalty minutes per game. The defensemen of BC Junior Canucks were also effective in Chicago Jr. Blackhawks' zone, and came away with two goals.

BC Junior Canucks additionally got points from Celebrini, who also had one goal and one assist, Chase Valliant, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Tomas Mrsic, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
