Huge game by McMorrow boosts Team Minnesota over Montreal Ice Storm, 4-1

Behind a great game by Brendan McMorrow, who had one goal and two assists, Team Minnesota defeated Montreal Ice Storm, 4-1.

McMorrow scored 3:02 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Team Minnesota. Simon Seidl picked up the assist. McMorrow dished an assist on Max Plante's goal that made the score 2-1 Team Minnesota at 11:54 into the first period. He added another helper on Seidl's goal that made the score 4-1 Team Minnesota at 6:31 into the second period.

Team Minnesota's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Montreal Ice Storm power plays.

Team Minnesota also got points from Seidl, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Cole Jackson also scored for Team Minnesota. In addition, Team Minnesota received assists from Barrett Dexheimer, Benjamin Miller, and Junior Podein, who each chipped in one.

Montreal Ice Storm was led by Samuel Leonard, who scored the team's only goal. Leonard scored 4:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Montreal Ice Storm. Gavin Cornforth provided the assist.

Angeo Basson rejected 16 shots on goal for Team Minnesota. Team Minnesota incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Gabriel D Aigle made 24 saves for Montreal Ice Storm on 28 shots. Montreal Ice Storm incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
