Winnipeg Junior Jets' BJ Riccardi was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him.

Connecticut Junior Rangers's power play was ineffective against Winnipeg Junior Jets's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

Winnipeg Junior Jets stifled Connecticut Junior Rangers's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Winnipeg Junior Jets were helped by Carter Bear, who had one goal.Bear scored in the first period to make the score 2-0 Winnipeg Junior Jets. Campbell Epp provided the assist.Winnipeg Junior Jets also had goals scored by Cole Slobodian, Bear, Clarke Caswell, and Jackson Kostiuk, who each put in one. In addition, Winnipeg Junior Jets received assists from Epp, Brooks Siemens, and Morgan Smith, who each chipped in one.

Connecticut Junior Rangers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Winnipeg Junior Jets to score on any of their three power plays.

Connecticut Junior Rangers were led by Porter Byrd-Leitner, who scored the team's only goal. Byrd-Leitner scored in the second period to make the score 3-1 Winnipeg Junior Jets. James Hagens picked up the assist.

Winnipeg Junior Jets incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Connecticut Junior Rangers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
