A stellar performance between the pipes by Cody Christofferson helped South defeat North, 4-1.

South's penalty kill excelled, as South gave up one goal despite allowing six power plays.

South was led by John Kiernan, who finished with one goal and one assist. Kiernan scored 26 seconds into the second period to make the score 2-0 South. Nicholas Ness provided the assist.

South forced North's netminders to work in net, ripping 35 shots and forcing 31 saves. Ryan Fanti made 14 stops and Alex Chen made 17.

South also got points from Ness, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for South included Brendan Johns and Caleb Ernst, who each put in one. In addition, South received assists from Michael Lamison and Sam Cote, who each chipped in one.

North was led by Nick Hames, who scored the team's only goal. Hames scored 14:49 into the third period to make the score 3-1 South. Kevin Ford picked up the assist.

South's Christofferson stopped 25 shots out of the 26 that he faced. South incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. North incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
