More assists for New York came via Steve DeNapoli, who had one. Chesapeake was led by Joe Walters, who had two goals and three assists.Walters scored the first of his two goals at 0:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Chesapeake. John Maloney assisted on the tally. Walters' next tally made the score 6-4 New York in the first period.
