Huge game by Lebold boosts Stratford over London, 7-3

Behind a great game by Dylan Lebold, who had one goal and two assists, the Stratford Cullitons defeated the London Nationals, 7-3.

Lebold scored 11:27 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Stratford. Jack Scanlan provided the assist. Lebold dished an assist on Deven Kropf's goal that made the score 5-3 Stratford at 6:03 into the third period. He added another helper on Kropf's goal that made the score 6-3 Stratford at 6:42 into the third period.

The win by Stratford broke a deadlock and gave the Cullitons a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series.

London was unable to stop Stratford from sending pucks towards the net, and the Cullitons eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

Stratford additionally got points from Joe Leahy, who also registered one goal and one assist, Kropf, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, and Zander Pryor, who also had one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Stratford included Zach Van Louwe and Justin Graham, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Stratford were Jared Nash, who had one, Tyson Baker, who had two, and Anthony Kotsovos, who had three.

The Nationals kept Stratford's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alexander Brooks-Potts made 34 saves on 37 shots.

London was helped by Brenden Trottier, who racked up one goal. Trottier scored 19:12 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Stratford. Kyle Robinson picked up the assist. London also got points from Kevin Madden, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Rai Di Loreto also scored for London. In addition, London received assists from Callum Ruddock and John Adams, who contributed one each.

The Cullitons incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Connor Hughes recorded 28 saves for the Nationals. London incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
