The Burlington Cougars relied on the sparkling performance of Andrew Lee in net to grab a 5-1 win against the Oakville Blades. After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, Oakville faces elimination next time out. Burlington was paced by Jordan Peacock, who had one goal and one assist. Peacock scored 9:47 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Burlington. Nicholas Holt provided the assist. Burlington additionally got points from Zac Herrmann, who also registered one goal and one assist, David Thomson, who also racked up one goal and one assist, and Chris Cobham, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Stefano Alonzi also scored for Burlington. In addition, Burlington received assists from Willy Paul, Kevin Dimagno, Philip Lagunov, and Griffin James, who contributed one each. The Blades' offense rang up 32 shots on the Cougars' net. Oakville was led by Bryce Misley, who scored the team's only goal. Misley scored on the power play 16:46 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Burlington. The Blades had gained a power play chance when David Kiss was whistled for cross checking.
