The Georgetown Raiders relied on the sparkling performance of Andrew Masters in net to grab a 2-1 win against the North York Rangers.

After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, North York faces elimination next time out.

Georgetown was led by Daniel Hardie, who finished with one goal. Hardie scored short handed 3:51 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Georgetown. Brendan Jacome assisted on the tally.

The Raiders excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Georgetown forced the Rangers goalie Gianluca Baggetta to work between the pipes, taking 40 shots.

Ashur Elliot also scored for Georgetown. Other players who recorded assists for Georgetown were Jake Payette, Arran MacDonald, and Kyle Allan, who each chipped in one.

North York's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Georgetown power plays. The Rangers kept the Raiders' goalie busy throughout the game, and Masters made 36 saves on 37 shots.

North York was led by Nick Campoli, who scored the team's only goal. Campoli scored 3:59 into the first period to make the score 1-0 North York. Chris Sekelyk provided the assist.

Georgetown incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Baggetta rejected 38 shots on goal for the Rangers. North York incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
