London falls to LaSalle in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Ryan Sarris gave the LaSalle Vipers a 4-3 (OT) victory over the London Nationals when he scored 6:35 into the extra period.

With the win, LaSalle evened the series at 1-1 in the best of seven showdown.

Manny Silverio had a great game for the Vipers, netting two goals. Silverio's tallies came at 6:22 into the second period to make the score 2-1 LaSalle and 19:21 into the third to make the score 3-3.

London was unable to stop LaSalle from sending pucks towards the net, and the Vipers eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

LaSalle also got a goal from Brett Primeau as well. In addition, LaSalle received assists from Connor Rosaasen, who had two and Zack Hoffman, Liam MacDougall, Nathan Veres, and Tyler Russell, who contributed one each.

The Nationals did not rack up many penalties in the contest, racking up only one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time.

London was helped by Scott Goodman, who tallied one goal. Goodman scored 8:35 into the second period to make the score 2-2. Rai Di Loreto assisted on the tally. London also had goals scored by Scott Dorion and Kyle Robinson, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for London were Tyler Sehovic, who had two and Callum Ruddock, Colin Wilson, and Brenden Trottier, who each chipped in one.

Paolo Battisti rejected 26 shots on goal for LaSalle. The Vipers ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Connor Hughes made 29 saves for the Nationals on 33 shots. London registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
