JT Hall gave the M1 Stony Brook University Seawolves a 7-6 (OT) victory over the M1 Lebanon Valley College Flying Dutchmen when he scored 2:34 into the extra period.

M1 Lebanon Valley College could not complete its climb out of a five-goal hole. M1 Stony Brook University made the score 5-0 on a goal by Frank Coscia at 16:23 in the first period. The Flying Dutchmen pulled to within 6-5 on a goal by Zack McKown at 19:37 in the third period.

With four goals and two assists between them, Hall and Tyler Underhill teamed up to power the Seawolves' offense. Hall had one goal and two assists and Underhill also added three goals.

M1 Stony Brook University forced M1 Lebanon Valley College goalie Brenden Manquen to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

M1 Stony Brook University also got points from Coscia, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for M1 Stony Brook University included Eddie Osowski and Brendan Calello, who scored one goal each. In addition, M1 Stony Brook University received assists from Parker Bishop, Michael Cartwright, Matthew Gervasi, Alex Miller, Chris Stemke, Andrew Cetola, and Joseph Bochichio, who each chipped in one and Justin Lazalde and Frank Sherding, who contributed two each.

With 48 shots on target during the contest, the Flying Dutchmen exceeded the 4.5 shots they average per game this year.

M1 Lebanon Valley College was helped by Bryan Hovanec, who registered three goals. M1 Lebanon Valley College additionally got points from McKown, who also finished with one goal and two assists. M1 Lebanon Valley College also got a goal from Paul Hefferin as well. Other players who recorded assists for M1 Lebanon Valley College were Andy Thurby, who had two and Matthew Reno, Travis Hall, Jacob Thomas, Michael Straub, and Travis Acker, who each chipped in one.

Derek Willms made 42 saves for the Seawolves on 48 shots. M1 Stony Brook University incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Flying Dutchmen's starting goalie, Brenden Manquen, made 23 saves and finished with the otl before he was taken out in favor of Chase Wilson, who stopped one shot. M1 Lebanon Valley College incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Flying Dutchmen ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Bradley Nolan was ejected from the game.
