Glanbrook outlasts Grimsby, 4-3

With the win, Glanbrook evened the series at one-one in the best of seven showdown

Rangers's penalty kill excelled, as Rangers gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.

Glanbrook were paced by Garnet Batrynchuk, who finished with one goal. Batrynchuk scored in the second period to make the score 4-2 Glanbrook. Chris Haigh and Nicholas Sherwood registered the assists on the goal.

Rangers stifled Peach Kings's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.Glanbrook kept Grimsby's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jeremy Currie made 41 saves on 45 shots.

Glanbrook also got points from Brad Parish, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Glanbrook included Brett Farrelly and Noah Matteson, who scored one each. More assists for Glanbrook came via Connor Maitz, Sherwood, Brandon Kolaski, Josh Pace, and Haigh, who contributed one apiece.

Peach Kings put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Rangers to score on any of their three power plays.Grimsby kept Glanbrook's goalie busy throughout the game, and Alex Horawski made 36 saves on 39 shots.

Peach Kings were helped by James Thorpe, who grabbed one goal.Thorpe scored in the second period to make the score 2-2 . The score was assisted by Carson Macrae and Trevor McEneny.Grimsby also had goals scored by Brady Cranwell, Daniel Scotland, and Thorpe, who each put in one. In addition, Grimsby received assists from McEneny, who had three and Jeromy Hopkins, Aidan Board, and Macrae, who each chipped in one.

Rangers incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Grimsby incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
