St. Andrews College blows out Ridley College, 5-1

The Ridley College Tigers had trouble finding ways to stop the St. Andrews College Saints, which beat Tigers, 5-1.

St. Andrews College was led by goalie Cole Chapman, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Chapman certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.55 entering the contest.

The Saints were paced by Kody Clark, who racked up one goal. Clark scored 16:50 into the first period to make the score 2-1 St. Andrews College. Lucas Thorne picked up the assist.

St. Andrews College's offense rang up 31 shots on Ridley College's net.

Others who scored for St. Andrews College included Corey Andonovski, who had two and Mitchell Martan and Regan Kimens, who scored one goal each. More assists for St. Andrews College came via William Sirman, Connor Ali, Reid Yochim, Jacob Miller, Morgan Barron, and Ryan OConnell, who each chipped in one.

The Tigers were led by Brandon Skubel, who scored the team's only goal. Skubel scored on the power play 14:00 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Ridley College. Ridley College had gained a power play chance when Noah Lugli was whistled for interference. Matvey Skripchenko assisted on the tally.

The Saints incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Chris McGonigle rejected 26 shots on goal for the Tigers. Ridley College incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
