M2 Grand Valley State University had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over M2 Utah State University.

M2 Grand Valley State University was led by Reede Burnett, who registered one goal and one assist. Burnett scored on the power play 15:10 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M2 Grand Valley State University. M2 Grand Valley State University had taken the advantage when M2 Utah State University's Josef Chase got sent off for interference. Mitch Claggett assisted on the tally.
