Stratford rips Brampton, 12-0

The Stratford Cullitons were firing on all cylinders against the Brampton Bombers, and when the final buzzer sounded Cullitons emerged with a 12-0 win.

The win gave Stratford a 1-0 lead in the best of seven series.

Josh Miller had one goal and five assists to lead the Cullitons. Miller scored 1:45 into the second period to make the score 3-0 Stratford. Justin Graham assisted on the tally.

Stratford forced Bombers' goaltenders to work between the pipes, firing 48 shots and forcing 36 saves. Jason Rhynold made 20 stops and Eric Pitcher made 16. The Cullitons was effective with a man advantage, and put in three goals while on the power play. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with three goals.

Stratford also got points from Deven Kropf, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Anthony Kotsovos, who also had two goals and one assist, Zander Pryor, who also tallied one goal and three assists, and Zach Van Louwe, who also registered one goal and two assists. Stratford also got a goal from Hayden Broomhead as well. Other players who recorded assists for Stratford were Jared Nash, who had three and Joe Leahy, Jack Scanlan, Josh Higgins, and Tristan Hohl, who each chipped in one.

Alexander Brooks-Potts rejected 22 shots on goal for Stratford. The Cullitons incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Brampton incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
