M2 Lindenwood University beats M2 Waldorf College 2-1 after comeback scare

M2 Lindenwood University survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 Waldorf College on the way to a 2-1 win.

A goal by Petrus Sipila put M2 Lindenwood University up 2-0 in the third period, but M2 Waldorf College pulled to within one on Buddy Napier's tally 17:34 into the third period.

M2 Waldorf College was stymied by M2 Lindenwood University's netminder Clint Steinmeyer, who stopped 34 shots during the victory. Steinmeyer certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.39 entering the contest.

M2 Lindenwood University was led by Sipila, who racked up one goal. Sipila scored 8:08 into the third period to make the score 2-0 M2 Lindenwood University. David Allen assisted on the tally.
