M3-Oakland University survived a determined comeback attempt by M3-Aquinas College on the way to a 5-4 win.

A goal by Matt Stirling put M3-Oakland University up 5-3 in the third period, but M3-Aquinas College pulled to within one on Calvin Wojtaszak's tally 18:31 into the third period.
