MISSISSAUGA survived a determined comeback attempt by BARRIE on the way to a 4-3 win. MISSISSAUGA made the score 4-1 on a goal by Kaelyn Johnson at 13:27 in the third period, and BARRIE got as close as 4-3 when Carley Blomberg scored 19:36 into the third period. BARRIE also got points from Kara Washer (A), who also had one goal and one assist and Devon Viragh, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. More assists for BARRIE came via Jillian Banks and Danika Phillips (C), who each chipped in one. Lin Han made 22 saves for MISSISSAUGA on 25 shots. MISSISSAUGA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors and had no power play opportunities. BARRIE's Briar Hughes stopped 28 shots out of the 32 that she faced. BARRIE ended with no penalties and went 3-for-6 on the power play.
