McGonigle stymies Nichols School, Ridley College wins 3-1

Chris McGonigle had a standout game with 36 saves, and the Ridley College Tigers beat the Nichols School Vikings 3-1.

Ridley College was led by Connor Hill, who tallied one goal. Hill scored 14:48 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Ridley College. Ryan Mahshie provided the assist.

The Tigers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Nichols School to score on any of its three power plays. Ridley College kept the Vikings' goalie busy throughout the game, and Josh Graziano made 29 saves on 32 shots.

Others who scored for Ridley College included Brandon Skubel and Adam Pys, who each put in one. In addition, Ridley College received assists from Thomas DiSebastiano, who had one.

Nichols School forced the Tigers goalie McGonigle to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

The Vikings were led by Brandon Hausler, who scored the team's only goal. Hausler scored 5:01 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Nichols School. Lucas Herrmann picked up the assist.

Ridley College incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Nichols School incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
