Minnesota University of's Duncan deadly on offense in 4-1 win against Colorado State University

Rheanna Duncan was all over the ice for the Minnesota University of Golden Gophers, as he tallied two goals in Minnesota University of's 4-1 win over the Colorado State University Rams.

Duncan scored at 15:28 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while 1:02 into the second to make the score 2-1 Minnesota University of.

The Golden Gophers were led by goalie Molly Westfield, who finished with 36 saves while allowing one goal.

Minnesota University of forced Colorado State University goalie Mackenzie Roberts to work between the pipes, taking 41 shots.

Minnesota University of additionally got points from Sonja Stojic, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Minnesota University of also got a goal from Kristina Anderson as well. In addition, Minnesota University of received assists from Brooklyn Duffy, Taylor Udenberg, Jordan Guggisberg, and Amanda Parranto, who each chipped in one.

The Rams put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Golden Gophers to score on any of their seven power plays.
