M2 Dallas Baptist University, which led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by M2 Southern Methodist University and clinched a 5-3 victory.

M2 Dallas Baptist University led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when M2 Dallas Baptist University's Thomas Hendrix scored at 7:55 in the second period to put M2 Dallas Baptist University up 4-1.
