M1 Stony Brook University never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Seawolves trailed 2-0 after a power play goal by M1 Syracuse University's Nolan Metzler at 14:53 in the first period. M1 Stony Brook University knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Frank Coscia at 7:28 in the second period. The Seawolves got the game winner at 12:42 in the second period on a goal by Coscia. M1 Stony Brook University was paced by Eddie Osowski, who grabbed one goal.
