Satosek's goals lift Kincardine to 6-3 victory over Mount Forest

Gerrit Satosek was all over the ice for the Kincardine Bulldogs, as he tallied two goals in Kincardine's 6-3 win over the Mount Forest Patriots.

Satosek's tallies came on the power play at 19:59 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Mount Forest and short handed 17:55 into the third to make the score 5-3 Kincardine.

The win by the Bulldogs clinched the best of seven series at 4-3.

Mount Forest's six penalties came back to haunt it, as the Patriots let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

Kincardine stifled Mount Forest's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bulldogs' offense rang up 45 shots on the Patriots' net.

Kincardine additionally got points from Shawn Moore, who also had one goal and one assist, Patrick Wiejak, who also finished with one goal and one assist, and Matthew Mah, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Kincardine also got a goal from Tyler Fregona as well. In addition, Kincardine received assists from Eric Langridge, who had two and Dalton Hnatko, Shawn Rooke, and Brady Richards, who each chipped in one.

Mount Forest was helped by Michael Stefanelli, who registered one goal. Stefanelli scored 5:53 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Mount Forest. Doug Ardis provided the assist. Riley OConnell also scored for Mount Forest. More assists for Mount Forest came via Trevor Hughson, who had one and Troy Oakley, who had two.

Jacob Hutchings made 22 saves for Kincardine on 25 shots. The Bulldogs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Kincardine ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Robert White was ejected from the game. Mathieu Oullette rejected 39 shots on goal for the Patriots. Mount Forest incurred 22 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
