Michael Paul had one point to lead the Penetang Kings to a 4-1 victory over the Caledon Golden Hawks. The win by Penetang broke a deadlock and gave the Kings a 2-1 advantage in the best of seven series. Penetang's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Caledon power plays. Others who scored for Penetang included Dallin Blunt, Matt Meher, and Matt Cochrane, who each put in one. In addition, Penetang received assists from Craig Robinson, Hayden Cole, Braeden Dorion, Cam Cochrane, and Aidan Robitaille, who contributed one each. Caledon excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. The Golden Hawks' offense were handcuffed by the Kings' defensive play, and Caledon managed only seven shots on goal during the game. The Golden Hawks were led by Christian Mariconda, who scored the team's only goal. Mariconda scored 14:16 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Penetang. Andrew North made six saves for Penetang on six shots. The Kings incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Sam Procopio rejected 24 shots on goal for Caledon. The Golden Hawks incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
