The game between the Hagersville Hawks and the Glanbrook Rangers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Hagersville emerged with a 5-4 win. The Hawks gained the winning advantage on a goal by Davis Brown 15:55 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. The win moved Hagersville to down 2-1 in the best of seven series. Brown was all over the ice for the Hawks, as he had two goals in the win. Hagersville stifled Glanbrook's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Hagersville additionally got points from Matt Rimac, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Hagersville also had goals scored by Cole Dezainne and Dan Mederios, who each put in one. In addition, Hagersville received assists from Aaron Panter, Domenic Evangelista, and MIchael Arch, who contributed one each and Matt Lemassuir, Cole Martin, and Derek Friesen, who each chipped in two. The Rangers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. Glanbrook forced the Hawks goalie Ryan Guy to work between the pipes, taking 38 shots. The Rangers were led by Noah Matteson, who finished with one goal and two assists. Matteson scored 15:52 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Garnet Batrynchuk provided the assist. Others who scored for Glanbrook included Chris Haigh, Nicholas Sherwood, and Connor Maitz, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Glanbrook were Brett Farrelly and Nathan Fiorino, who contributed one each. Ryan Guy made 34 saves for Hagersville on 38 shots. The Hawks incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Alex Horawski recorded 22 saves for Glanbrook. The Rangers incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
