The Glanbrook Rangers had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-2 win over the Hagersville Hawks. The win gave Glanbrook a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. The Rangers were led by Connor Maitz, who racked up one goal and one assist. Maitz scored 14:57 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Glanbrook. Glanbrook put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hagersville to score on any of its three power plays. The Rangers' defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Glanbrook also had goals scored by Jake Bain, Josh Pace, Garnet Batrynchuk, and Ryan Laufman, who scored one goal each. More assists for Glanbrook came via Brad Parish, who had two and Chris Haigh, Matthew Hogan, Noah Matteson, and Cole Anderson, who each chipped in one. The Hawks were led by MIchael Arch, who had one goal. Arch scored 11:52 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Glanbrook. Bailey Fletcher picked up the assist. Dan Mederios also scored for Hagersville. In addition, Hagersville received assists from Travis Bell, Damon Cumming, and Domenic Evangelista, who contributed one each. Zach Moore rejected 24 shots on goal for Glanbrook. The Rangers incurred 26 minutes in penalty time with three minors. Glanbrook ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Nathan Fiorino was ejected from the game. Ryan Guy made 20 saves for Hagersville on 25 shots. The Hawks incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors. For Hagersville, Fletcher was ejected from the game.
