Uxbridge falls to Port Perry in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Port Perry Mojacks' Graham Lamers scored 7:08 into overtime to beat the Uxbridge Bruins, 3-2 (OT).

The win by Port Perry clinched the best of seven series at 4-0.

The Mojacks were led by Lamers, who tallied one goal.

Port Perry stifled Uxbridge's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Mojacks' offense rang up 48 shots on the Bruins' net.

Port Perry also got points from Liam Schweda, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Port Perry also got a goal from Ethan Ramsden as well. More assists for Port Perry came via Dan Harris, Lucas Berkers, and Kyle Schweda, who contributed one each.

Uxbridge forced Port Perry goalie Brett Chandler to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

The Bruins were helped by Marco Mastrangelo, who racked up one goal and one assist. Mastrangelo scored short handed 9:16 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Uxbridge. Uxbridge was on a disadvantage when Patrick Bolahood went off the ice for kneeing. Aiden Reilly assisted on the tally. Uxbridge additionally got points from Reilly, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. In addition, Uxbridge received assists from Thomas Sheedy, who had one.

The Mojacks' Chandler stopped 32 shots out of the 34 that he faced. Port Perry incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Branden Francey rejected 45 shots on goal for the Bruins. Uxbridge incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
