Nick Donato was all over the ice for Cardinal OHara, as he tallied one goal and three assists in Cardinal OHara's 5-1 win over Father Judge.

Donato scored on the power play 12:52 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Cardinal OHara had taken the advantage when Father Judge's Zachary Vendetti got sent off for cross checking. Liam McCanney picked up the assist. Donato dished an assist on Corey Boornazian's goal that made the score 2-1 Cardinal OHara at 10:00 into the second period. He then added assists on Jon Melanchuk's goal at 11:06 into the second and on John Ahearn's goal at 15:28 into the second.

Father Judge's eight penalties came back to haunt it, as Father Judge let up four goals while on the penalty kill.

Cardinal OHara put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Father Judge to score on any of its three power plays. Cardinal OHara's offense rang up 36 shots on Father Judge's net. The defensemen of Cardinal OHara were also effective in Father Judge's zone, and came away with two goals.

In addition, Cardinal OHara received assists from Justin Boornazian, who had one.

Father Judge was held below its usual level of production. Father Judge puts an average of 4.5 pucks into the net per game. Father Judge's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as Father Judge finished with 26 penalty minutes.

Father Judge was led by Brendan Kobierowski, who scored the team's only goal. Kobierowski scored short handed 11:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Father Judge. Father Judge was on a disadvantage when Kenneth Paris went off the ice for tripping. Matthew Giampa assisted on the tally.

Dan Dougherty rejected 20 shots on goal for Cardinal OHara. Cardinal OHara incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jeffrey Jacuk made 31 saves for Father Judge on 36 shots.
