Huge game by Valente boosts CT Wolfpack (mm) over San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm), 6-3

Behind a great game by Gabriele Valente, who had two goals and two assists, CT Wolfpack (mm) defeated San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm), 6-3.

Valente's tallies came at 14:11 into the first period to make the score 2-1 CT Wolfpack (mm) and 8:26 into the third to make the score 5-3 CT Wolfpack (mm).

Erik Gordon frustrated San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm)'s offense all game, and stopped 32 shots en route to a shutout.

CT Wolfpack (mm) stifled San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm)'s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. CT Wolfpack (mm) bested its season scoring average. CT Wolfpack (mm) has scored at the pace of 3.5 goals per game during the current campaign.

CT Wolfpack (mm) also got points from Daniel Crossen, who also registered one goal and one assist, Josh Waters, who also finished with one goal and two assists, Austin Withycombe, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Everett Wardle, who also tallied one goal and one assist. In addition, CT Wolfpack (mm) received assists from Kyle Browder, who had two and Avi Sytner and Keitaro Yasuda, who contributed one each.

San Jose Jr. Sharks (mm) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow CT Wolfpack (mm) to score on any of its three power plays.
