Huge game by Kruse boosts Belle Tire (mm) over St. Louis AAA Blues (mm), 6-1

Brandon Kruse had two goals and one assist to lead Belle Tire (mm) to a 6-1 victory over St. Louis AAA Blues (mm).

Kruse's tallies came on the power play at 5:10 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Belle Tire (mm) and on the power play 6:21 into the second to make the score 3-1 Belle Tire (mm).

Belle Tire (mm) was effective with a man advantage, and put in three goals while on the power play.

Belle Tire (mm) additionally got points from Noah Finstrom, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Belle Tire (mm) also had goals scored by Dominic Skrelja, Kieran Ogle, and John Kaljian, who each put in one. In addition, Belle Tire (mm) received assists from Andrew Woodstock, who had two and Matthew Davis, Blake Kryska, Mack Hastings, Nolan Baldrica, Spencer Kimball, and Brenden Stanko, who each chipped in one.

St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) was led by Clayton Dawe, who scored the team's only goal. Dawe scored 14:56 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Logan Ritchie assisted on the tally.

Ryan McInchak made 19 saves for Belle Tire (mm) on 20 shots. Belle Tire (mm) incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. St. Louis AAA Blues (mm)'s Andrew Shapiro stopped 13 shots out of the 19 that he faced. St. Louis AAA Blues (mm) registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
