Belle Tire (MM) outlasts St. Louis AAA Blues (MM), 5-3

Belle Tire (MM) and St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Belle Tire (MM) made the most of its opportunities and won, 5-3.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Hunter Wendt's goal in the second period proved to be the difference maker.

Belle Tire (MM) was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 20 penalty minutes.

Belle Tire (MM) additionally got points from Michael Hodgson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Belle Tire (MM) included Hayden Winch, Greg Mironovich, and Rex Moe, who scored one goal each. More assists for Belle Tire (MM) came via Matt Eller, Michael Robertson, Matt Kindred, and Joey Savel, who each chipped in one.

St. Louis AAA Blues (MM) kept Belle Tire (MM)'s goalie busy throughout the game, and Andrew Kormos made 28 saves on 31 shots.
