Park, Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) blank Thunder AAA Hockey, 8-0

Austin Park made 26 saves to complete the shutout and led Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) to an 8-0 win against Thunder AAA Hockey.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) got the win with help from a great game by Chase Gresock, who had two goals and one assist. Gresock scored the first of his two goals at 13:35 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Ohio Blue Jackets (MM). Kyle Craddick picked up the assist. Gresock's next tally made the score 3-0 Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) with 18:46 left in the second period. Trevor St-Jean provided the assist.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Thunder AAA Hockey to score on any of its six power plays. Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) averages 5.5 goals per game.

Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) additionally got points from Cameron Sangster, who also tallied one goal and one assist, Justin Richards, who also had one goal and one assist, St-Jean, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, and Connor Pooley, who also finished with two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. In addition, Ohio Blue Jackets (MM) received assists from Cole Michaelis, Luke Larbes, Joel Heminger, and Collin Siebenaler, who each chipped in one.
