Brock Malatches gave the M1 Rochester College Warriors a 2-1 (OT) victory over the M1 Eastern Michigan University Eagles when he scored 9:31 into the extra period.

M1 Rochester College's Zakk Olvin was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 30 saves and let only one puck past him. The solid play of Olvin will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 3.4.

The Warriors were led by Malatches, who grabbed one goal and one assist.

M1 Rochester College put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M1 Eastern Michigan University to score on any of its five power plays. The Warriors put 50 shots on net during the contest, more than the 0.6 they average per game.
