Ladzinski's goals lift M3-Dordt College to 10-3 victory over M3-Lewis University

Behind a great game by Aaron Ladzinski, who had two goals, M3-Dordt College defeated M3-Lewis University, 10-3.

Ladzinski scored at 1:20 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Dordt College and again while 7:13 into the second to make the score 4-3 M3-Dordt College.

M3-Dordt College's penalty kill excelled, as M3-Dordt College gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.

M3-Lewis University was unable to stop M3-Dordt College from sending pucks towards the net, and M3-Dordt College eventually piled up 44 shots on goal. M3-Dordt College found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. M3-Dordt College averages 3.6 goals per game. M3-Dordt College's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as M3-Dordt College finished with 14 penalty minutes.

M3-Dordt College also got points from Caleb Groot, who also registered one goal and two assists, Kevin Grootenboer, who also grabbed three goals and two assists to lead the team in points, and Thomas Soodsma, who also had two goals and one assist. M3-Dordt College's defense shut down M3-Lewis University's forwards for much of the game, and M3-Lewis University got off only 14 shots during the contest.

M3-Lewis University was led by Joseph Norton, who finished with two goals. Norton scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 13:23 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M3-Dordt College. Norton's next tally on the power play made the score 3-2 M3-Lewis University with 17:21 left in the second period. Dillon George also scored for M3-Lewis University. Other players who recorded assists for M3-Lewis University were Zach Davis, who had one.
