The Mt.Brydges Bulldogs survived a determined comeback attempt by the Lucan Irish on the way to a 4-3 win. Mt.Brydges made the score 4-2 on a goal by Mike Vandenelzen at 8:30 in the third period, and Lucan got as close as 4-3 when Connor Lyttle scored 18:54 into the third period. The win by the Bulldogs clinched the best of seven series at 4-1. The Irish's power play was ineffective against Mt.Brydges' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Lucan was unable to stop the Bulldogs from sending pucks towards the net, and Mt.Brydges eventually piled up 38 shots on goal. Mt.Brydges also got points from Jack Underhill, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Mt.Brydges also had goals scored by Eric Maecker and Danny Nickles, who each put in one. More assists for Mt.Brydges came via Alex Cox, who had three and Austin Blais and Carson Kennes, who each chipped in one. The Irish forced the Bulldogs goalie Noah Hedrick to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Lucan also got a goal from Noah Campbell as well. In addition, Lucan received assists from Nathan Marcil, who had two and Ryan Duncan and Dawson Cook, who contributed one each. Noah Hedrick made 29 saves for Mt.Brydges on 32 shots. The Bulldogs incurred 30 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. Mike Lindner recorded 34 saves for Lucan. The Irish incurred 54 minutes in penalty time with 12 minors.
